I am excited to announce I will participate in a Dodgers Author Talk, Panel Discussion, and Book Signing hosted by the Los Angeles Public Library on Saturday, April 11, from 2-3:30 pm PT. I will have a short talk on my book, Jim Gilliam: The Forgotten Dodger, and will be joined by former Dodgers general manager Fred Claire, author of Extra Innings: Fred Claire’s Journey to City of Hope, and Eric Vickrey, author of Before They Word Dodger Blue: Tommy Lasorda and the Greatest Draft Class in the History of Baseball. Tom Hoffarth, author of Perfect Eloquence: An Appreciation of Vin Scully will moderate our discussion.
Copies of our books will be available for sale at the event which is free to the public with registration at this link. The Los Angeles Public Library is located at 630 W. 5th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90071. The event will be on the second floor in the Art, Music, & Recreation, Sports Room. I hope to see you on April 11, before the Dodgers game that night at 6:05 pm PT.
